The inspiration for this piece stems from the equation X divided by 0 which is mathematically undefined and has no solvable answer. I’ve transformed this equation and replaced the zero with the equation for light (represented in the rainbow portion of the painting). I find beauty in the unknown and lean into the equations we cannot solve for. By doing so I am allowing for an infinite world to be exactly that. By acknowledging the undefined as light, I surrender any desire in questioning the unknown.
